Plastic Bag-Free Day

January 23th is a plastic packaging-free day in Poland. To celebrate this occasion the marketing department of the OSI POLAND FOODWORKS was giving out OSI’s branded cotton bags.

Plastic bag needs no introduction. Invented by a Swedish engineer in 1965, a single use synonym of modernity and an advertising medium grew in popularity to become famous all over the world. But today, we are aware of plastic pollution which leads to variety of threats.

Production of a plastic bag lasts less than a second, it is used for approximately 20 minutes, while its decomposition takes almost 400 years!

To decrease plastic consumption we can replace plastic bags with cotton/canvas bags. Those are reusable, easy to wash and look great.

Replace plastic single-use bags with reusable alternatives!
