„Dziczek run” was organized last Sunday. The sixth edition of this sports event attracted enthusiasts of all ages, from preschoolers to senior citizens.
Exceptionally pleasant route of the race lead along beautiful, forest paths. Runners had a choice of two distances. Mini Dziczek run was 5,6 km, whereas the main Dziczek was 10 km long. One of the basic ideas that Organizers aim at is promoting sport among the youngest citizens. That is why children and teenagers had the opportunity to compete in four distances: 100m, 500m, 900m, and 1400m.
This year „Dziczek” has become more ECO friendly! The starter kits and prizes were packed in paper bags, the runners segregated waste, there was an aluminum can collection, and the organizers promoted car sharing to arrive at the event or, preferably, coming by bike or on foot.
OSI POLAND FOODWORKS, as a loyal fan of physical activity, funded vouchers for beef meat for the winners of each category. At our stall, we organized healthy fruit refreshments and provided drinks to keep the runners hydrated.
